The audio installation (A pain shared is a pain halved) deals with catastrophe reports in german television from 2015. While the extent of various catastrophes, mourning announcements and expert interviews can be heard over 20 headphones, a jingle of a pop song runs in a loop in the background via two speakers. The images of the catastrophes are missing, as they are already manifested in our minds. The work focuses on the language and invites the audience to take part in a temporary community of fate.
